on trying to convince paul to read a romance novel
paul: i should just mail back my college degree right now.
me: i'm reading a romance novel and a book about Paul and Julia Child's time in the OSS. if there is room in the world for foie gras and potato chips, there is room in the world for romance and political history.
ali: that needs to be our new apartment motto.
paul: make sure you say pringles, it works better than potato chips.
